Bohdan Prytula Ukraine
Bohdan Prytula (1998), after studying for three years at the Stryi Choir School “Shchedryk”, was admitted at Vasyl Barvinsky Musical College in Drohobych in 2013, to study choral conducting in the class of Honored Artist of Ukraine Igor Tsyklinsky. Since 2016, B. Prytula studies choral conducting at Petro Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine in the class of Honored Artist of Ukraine, Choirmaster of the National Opera of Ukraine, Assistant Professor Oleksandr Tarasenko. In February 2015, Bohdan Prytula won the 1st place at the 2nd Choral Competition in Lviv, and in November of the same year, he won the 2nd place in the 1st All-Ukrainian Open Contest of Choir Conductors "Solar Stream". In March 2016, he won the 2nd place at the 3rd Regional Contest of Choral Conductors in Ivano-Frankivsk. In 2017 he took part in the 4th Regional Contest of Choral Conductors in Ternopil, where he won the 1st prize. Bohdan Prytula has been a singer at the Municipal Male Choir "Kamenjar" and the Municipal Chamber Choir "Legenda". He is the founder of the Chamber Choir "Contrast" in Drohobych and with the help of friends in Kyiv, has founded the Chamber Choir "Sonores", which participated in the 10th International Easter Assembly and presented five choral concerts by Stepan Degtyarev. |
