Rūdolfs Krēsliņš (1991, Latvia)

 

Rūdolfs Krēsliņš, a 4th grade student of the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, has worked as a conductor with several Latvian mixed choirs since his early age. Currently he is a leader of the mixed choir of the University of Latvia Juventus as well as the Riga Culture Secondary School girls' choir and ensemble.

He has established himself as a conductor in several competitions both in Latvia and in Europe, among them the 12th International Choral Competition (Belgium, Maasmechelen, the 2nd place, choir Juventus); special prize for the best interpretation of the compulsory composition (choir competition Juventus 2013, Lithuania, Kaunas, choir Juventus); the International Choir Competition Juventus 2013 (Lithuania, Kaunas, the 1st place, choir Juventus); the International choir conducting competition Towards Polyphony (Poland, Wroclaw, 2nd place); Latvia Music High School Choir conducting competition, Jelgava (1st place).

Rūdolfs Krēsliņš has collaborated with such musicians as Dons (Latvia), the bandBaložu pilni pagalmi (Latvia), band The Sound Poets (Latvia), RaveLaKile rock group (Brooklyn, New York) as well as with the state chamber orchestra Sinfonietta Rīga.
